!!! SINCE September 2009 at the Enzyklopädie "WHO IS WHO " !!! The young Bulgarian harpist MARIA TUTURILOVA is acknowledged as one of the new leading harpists on the concert scene today. Born in Sofia (Bulgaria) on 4.2.1976, she began to play piano at 7 years old and the harp at 11 years old. During 1990-1995 she graduated the School of Music "L.Pipkov" (Sofia) in the harp class of Prof. Malina Hristova. Miss M.Tuturilova subsequently went on to perfect her playing at the State Music Academy "Prof. P.Vladigerov" (Sofia, 1995-2000) in the harp and chamber music class of Prof. M. Hristova, while at the same time studying in the Theoretic-Composer´s Faculty at the Music Academy in the piano class of Prof. Ivan Eftimov; music pedagogy in the class of Senior Ass. Ph. Dr. Emilia Kolarova; chor conducting in the class of Ass. Prof. Miroslav Popsavov and organ in the class of Prof. Dr. Neva Krasteva. In June 2000 she received her MAGISTER DEGREE in the Instrumental Faculty as SOLOIST-HARPIST and in Theoretic-Composer´s Faculty as CHOR-CONDUCTOR, and BACELOR DEGREE as MUSIC PEDAGOG (1999, June)with diplom work "From the History of the Bulgarian Harp School-Pedagogs, Players, Composers, Works". In the period 1999-2001 she studied in the class of o.Univ.Prof. Adelheid Blovsky-Miller in the Vienna Music University (ex Hochschule)- Postgraduate Specialization. Since 2001 Miss Tuturilova makes a Dr.Ph.Degree in Vienna Music University (dissertation´s thema: The Harpist in the Vienna Philharmony) and a Dr.Degree in Sofia State Music Academy (dissertation´s thema: The Interpretation´s problems in the harp literature of bulgarian composers). M.Tuturilova participated in the harp master classes with prof. Annie Fontain (1993); prof. Constance Popova (1994); prof. Edward Witsenburg (1997) in the summer academy Mozarteum-Salzburg; prof. Aoyako Shinozaki (1999); prof. Catherine Michel (2000); prof. Isabelle Moretti (2001); prof. Ion Ivan Roncea (2002); prof. Patrizia Tassini (2002). Maria Tuturilova is the first performer of many harp pieces in Bulgaria, some of which are dedicated to her. She is the first women in Bulgaria which have the official permission to make an instrumental concert in East-Orthodox church - 16.9.1997 as soloist of chamber ensemble "Sofia Soloist" conducted by Maestro Plamen Djurov. BIOGRAPHIE und AUSBILDUNG:
Die junge Harfenistin MARIA TUTURILOVA ist anerkanntermaßen eine der neuen führenden Harfenistinnen der aktuellen Konzertszene. Geboren in Sofia(Bulgarien) am 4.2.1976, im Alter von 7 Jahren begann sie ihre musikalische Ausbildung mit dem Klavierspiel, später dann mit 11 Jahren - Harfe. Von 1990 bis 1995 lernte sie an der Nationalen Musikschule "L.Pipkov" (Sofia) in der Harfenklasse von Prof. Malina Christova und maturierte mit Auszeichnung. Anschließend studierte sie an der Staatlichen Musikhochschule "P. Vladigerov" (Sofia). Im Jahre 2000 diplomierte sie zum Magister in der Fächern HARFE (Prof. M. Christova), CHORDIRIGIEREN ( Prof. M. Popsavov), MUSIKPÄDAGOGIK (Prof. E. Kolarova), KLAVIER (Prof. I. Eftimov) und ORGEL (Prof. N. Krasteva).
Im Jahre 1999 beginnt sie zusätzlich einen postgradualen Lehrgang für Harfe in der Klasse von o.Univ.Prof.Adelheid Blovsky-Miller an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst - Wien (Abschluss 2001). Seit Oktober 2001 arbeitet sie an ihrer Doktorarbeit zur Thema "DIE HARFENISTEN DER WIENER PHILHARMONIKER VON DER GRÜNDUNG DES VEREINS BIS ENDE DES 20 JH." Inzwischen nahm sie an mehreren Meisterklassen teil und absolvierte sie u.a. bei: Prof. A. Fontain (1993), Prof. C. Popova (1994), Prof. E. Witsenburg (1997 - "Mozarteum" Salzburg), Prof. A. Shinozaki (1999 - München), Prof. C. Michel(2000 - Wien), Prof. I. Moretti (2001 - München), Prof. I. I. Roncea (2002 - Wien), Prof. P. Tassini (2002 - Slowenien).
